Bratislava, Slovakia | Personal Project + Creative Travel Photography
This is the latest in a series of personal travel posts following a trip I made with my daughter last month! Previous destinations are linked at the bottom of this blog post. and you can click through to see more about our travels on my family blog here.
We ended up popping over to Bratislava after getting off the night train in Vienna because I had an extra travel day to use on our pass, I literally looked at a map and thought "Hey! It's an hour away, it's worth a few hours to see somewhere else?"
I'll admit, first impressions of Bratislava weren't great, combined with the fact that Google Maps took us on a questionable route through a questionable neighbourhood.. But when we reached the old town it was beautiful and the narrow streets that opened up into piazza-style squares were lovely to explore. This isn't a long post, but here are a few favourite images from a flying morning visit to Bratislava last month. And yes, even in Slovakia it seems you're never far from a Tesco Express..
You can see my personal account of what we got up to in Bratislava over on my family blog here.
