Here's a little bit of trivia.. I shot Rachel and Rob's wedding a few years ago - my last wedding of that year - and when they later enquired about a wedding album and to tell me they'd since had a daughter, I was in labour myself and my reply to them was the last email I sent before having Sylvie a few hours later.. ("If I don't send this email now, I don't know how long it'll be before I can reply.." - talk about no rest for the self employed..)

Anyway. It was such a joy to meet Isabella - a fabulous little character, full of beans and busy exploring and playing with everything, and looking like the perfect mix of her Mum and Dad.. I joined the three of them at their home, and we got some natural shots of them being the wonderful family that they are.

Here are a few favourites from that day; I've also included a shot of Isabella (towards the end) when it all got a bit too much.. I *love* these sorts of pictures because they are accurate and show the full truth about what family life is like with little ones - generally a complete joy with a few testing moments in between..
