I love September for weddings. The light is beautiful, it’s usually still warm and there’s that lovely feel of Summer not being quite over just yet..

Joanna and Scott married at Headlam Hall in County Durham. It was my first time shooting there and it didn’t disappoint. It’s a stunning setting; the building and gardens made a fabulous backdrop for photos. These two were accompanied by their beautiful children Josh and Mia as they said ‘I do’ - I love when it becomes such a family occasion and there are more than just the two of you involved in starting this next chapter..
