Newton Hall is just wonderful to shoot at.. I've been part of so many gorgeous celebrations there and each of them is so different. For today, I have Sophie and Will's travel and cycling-inspired wedding at this beautiful Northumberland venue.

These two were adventurous and loved to travel, and wanted it to be reflected in how they styled their day. There were cycling-themed touches, tables named after favourite destinations and paper planes that guests assembled and threw around the room at the meal time..

They even hired a beautiful old tandem bike, which ended up being riden by guests and themselves before the evening reception.. it was a beautiful late Summer September day and it was just wonderful seeing everyone hanging out and relaxing in the last of the sunshine..

We also made our way down to the beach, which became some of my favourite photos of these two. I love the starkness of the sands in Northumberland and just these two as tiny figures on such a simple landscape.. I also love that Sophie went barefoot as she padded across for photos..

I chose this selection for Sophie and Will's Newton Hall wedding in Northumberland because I wanted to show the joy of the day, the travel theme, the fun and also showcase some of my favourite photos of these two at the beach.. SUCH a wonderful September day.
