Zurich, Switzerland | Personal Project + Creative Travel Photography

This is the latest in a series of personal travel posts following a trip I made with my daughter last month! Previous destinations are linked at the bottom of this blog post. and you can click through to see more about our travels on my family blog here.

After Zermatt we travelled up to Zurich, ahead of catching a sleeper train at around 10pm that night. We arrived around lunchtime, left cases in storage in the train station, and went straight out exploring. We found a park on high ground where people were playing boules and chess, which had beautiful views over the entire city. We walked down into the old town, through to the harbour and looked out onto Lake Zurich.

It was a pretty city, and very peaceful as we explored by foot. I loved the waterside buildings on the river, and the narrow streets of the old town - it was a good city to be armed with a camera. We took a trip around the lake, played cards, and started out at the other small towns on the water as we passed them. Here are a few favourite images..

You can see a a bit more about what we did in Zurich and to read my personal account on my family blog click here.
