WEDDING POSTPONEMENT
AVAILABILITY CALENDAR
First of all, BIG love to you both. This is such a difficult time and I’m so sorry that you’re having to face this as part of your wedding planning. I’m sure it feels really upsetting and hugely unfair; if only we were still just worrying about missing RSVPs and the weather forecast!
I really, really want to be part of your wedding day and for us to work this out together; I too want this all to go as smoothly as possible for all of us. It’s been necessary to come up with a procedure to follow for Covid-19 postponements; this number of wedding date changes over such a short period of time is something I’ve never had to deal with before, so it needs to be managed well and fairly for the next few months.
At the beginning, try and sync up some of your priority suppliers so that you can transfer everything over together and hopefully make for the smoothest transition possible.
I am allowing postponements within 12 months of your original wedding date - any request to postpone outside of this time frame is on request. I am making every effort to be as accommodating as possible with trying to get dates transferred; I am trying to manage this all as responsibly and fairly as I can whilst also trying to keep my business healthy and able to recover once this difficult time has passed.
Please try and be fair with requests for dates, i.e. if you are booked in with me for a short-coverage Wednesday, a request for a Saturday date may not be possible. Please get in touch to request dates and we can go from there.
Please get in touch if you’re interested in a ‘pending’ booking date in the calendar - some people may be waiting to hear from 2/3 dates in their efforts to sync up suppliers, and ‘pending’ means in no way that the date is necessarily unavailable.
I’ve had to accept that my business will take a big hit this year; as much as I deeply sympathise with the upset and stress you are all having to deal with changing your plans, I do need to try and proceed in a managed way and take some business considerations into account to protect my work at this end too. Due to this, requests for changing from a weekday to weekend wedding dates, and weddings rescheduled beyond 12 months of your original wedding date may incur a fee.
If you have to make a decision to rearrange your day for a date I am unavailable for I have options for you too so you don’t lose your booking fee with me - get in touch if this is the case and I’ll explain everything in more detail.
All monies and coverage costs agreed with your previous contract will be transferred over to your new date. A new contract and booking form will need to be completed so I can update my records at this end.
Sending so much love to you all at this time - we can work through this together and I’m on hand to help if you want to discuss dates, moan about it all, cry at how unfair this feels or just have a general chat about how it’s going at your end.
You will get married and it’ll be just as amazing - hang in there!
Sally xx
To organise/request a postponement or enquire about available dates, click through the calendar below and work out your best options after checking available dates with your venue, get in touch using the form below and we can go from there.
Feel free to request a few and don’t hesitate to include dates which already have ‘pending booking’ on them - ‘pending’ does not mean the date is unavailable, just that someone else is also considering it.
