My work is about people, love, storytelling and celebration. I work in a very relaxed way capturing the day as is happens; my style is a balanced mix of reportage and editorial.

You should both feel like yourselves and completely comfortable on the day - it’s how I’ll capture the most natural and honest moments. I blend in and work in a very unobtrusive and candid way, documenting the ‘real’ with a little gentle direction and creativity.
At some point we'll do a few family and wedding party shots (if you want them), and when it fits in with your day we'll find a few spots for some photographs of you both.. I love the little details that you've put together to make the day look truly yours, but I most love capturing storytelling elements showing relationships and people letting go, relaxing and enjoying themselves.

WHERE ARE YOU FROM?
I am based in a small town in North Yorkshire but cover the entire UK and beyond. I love shooting weddings in new places, across the country and worldwide; I enjoy travelling for work every year and love that my job takes me everywhere. Travel expenses are included within the UK.
HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN A PHOTOGRAPHER?
I started my business in 2010, shot my first wedding in 2011 and went full time in 2013.. so a long time now! I started slowly while I was still in uni and I never expected to be lucky enough to turn something I first loved as a hobby into a successful business. I can’t imagine doing anything else.
DO YOU DO DESTINATION WEDDINGS?
I do! I’ve been lucky enough to travel all over the world shooting weddings over the years. Pricing for destination weddings is bespoke and it will always include two nights basic accommodation and flights/travel. Get in touch for more details.
DO WE HAVE PRINTING RIGHTS?
You have full personal printing rights to your images, meaning that you can share them with family and friends and create your own prints and albums. I’m happy for other wedding suppliers at your wedding to use images (with your permission, of course) on the condition that they credit the images to me.
HOW LONG IS FULL DAY COVERAGE?
Full day coverage starts around 2 hours before your ceremony and runs right through to your first dance. I always stay for an extra few songs to capture a bit of the dance floor too - I love to see some shapes being thrown! You can add extra hours to your full day package if you’re keen on capturing more of the dance floor or have evening entertainment planned after your first dance (i.e. fireworks/band/sparklers).
WE ARE REALLY CAMERA SHY..
Don’t worry! So many of my couples say this. I’m frequently told that I’m very good at making people comfortable and feel at ease while I’m working. I won't be asking you to pose for hours on end, I generally look for natural moments over staged ones. What I will do at one point in the day is take you to a few spots for some artistic portraits and gently direct you to get the most out of this time so you get some beautiful shots of yourselves.. mainly I'm looking for the relationship between you both rather than anything overly stylised.
HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO GET OUR IMAGES AFTER THE WEDDING?
It takes around 6-8 weeks to get your full set of images via digital download after your wedding. I always deliver preview photos in a private gallery within two weeks of your wedding to keep you going/use for any thank you cards/share with family and friends to keep you going while you wait. I have the option to fast-track your editing if you’re itching to see them earlier too.
