Berlin | Personal Creative Travel Photography

Oh Berlin - one of the best places I've visited. A brutalist, beautiful, interesting, artistic and historical city.. full of amazing sights, poignant reminders, graffiti, photo booths, the coolest residents and amazing places to eat and drink.

When away, I love to explore on foot where possible and love having my camera to hand when I do. It just feels like you really *see* when you're moving a bit slower across a city and I loved having a few days to shoot just for myself. I hate being too much of a tourist but I do love seeing a few of the 'important' things when visiting somewhere new too. I loved the little details of this amazing city as much as the monuments and amazing architecture.

Of course, I visited the wall. The history of Berlin really hits you when you're seeing it right in front of you and I love that it's so accessible - they haven't papered over the past at all and it's such an incredible and interesting place to explore. There was also plenty of time getting beers in and eating amazing currywurst too - I'd love to go back and see more. I visited in March and it was still absolutely freezing, I'd love to this this wonderful city in the Summertime too. Oh Berlin, I love you. Here are some of the personal pictures I took on that trip..
