Tessa + Paul | Coppermines, Coniston Lake District Wedding

Tessa and Paul and a wonderfully intimate wedding in the Coppermine Cottages near Coniston in the Lake District where they said their vows in front of immediately family and friends. The weather wasn’t what they’d hoped for (100% chance of rain and a possibility of thunder and lightening..) but these two didn’t let it dampen any spirits at all.

I can’t tell you how exciting it is to work with a couple who are completely up for making the most of the day, pouring rain or not, and exploring the incredible landscape - they had total faith that getting soaked to the bones would be worth it for photographs and I’m so grateful for the trust they put in me that day. I’m also grateful that they embraced me wearing my battered Superga’s for most of the day because I couldn’t find my wellies on the morning..

Tessa and Paul - thanks for having me shoot your incredibly special day. It was one to remember, not for the weather, but for all the right reasons. Congratulations!
