Phillippa & Toby | Engagement Shoot in York, North Yorkshire

To be completely honest, it's been a little while since I shot an engagement shoot. I love doing them, but recently I've been much more used to wedding days and family sessions.. so when Phillippa and Toby greeted me with "We're a bit nervous!" I replied with "Me too!"

I don't think any of us needed to worry, very quickly we were all chatting about wedding plans, general day-to-day life stuff and stopping whilst wandering through the city when we found spots for photos. I'm shooting Phillippa and Toby's wedding in Malton in September, and the idea was that York city centre would be a lovely contrast in photos to their more rural setting for their wedding. I love York (I live less than an hour away) and love shooting in cities because there's something different around every corner..
