Ashley and Richard - what a fab start to 2020!

These two were a pleasure to hang out with all day for their relaxed Engine Shed wedding in Wetherby - it was all right up my street! Ashley’s Dad is a vicar and conducted their ceremony which immediately added a huge extra special something to their day. They had beautiful live music during their ceremony, including Ashley’s brother on drums, and later her sister sang a beautiful acoustic version of Latch by Sam Smith before they ran out into confetti, ready to celebrate for the rest of the day.

I hadn’t shot at the Engine Shed before - it’s a fab old industrial venue in Wetherby and I loved the look of the place. Ashley and Richard told me it just felt very ‘them’ more than some of the ‘grander’ wedding venues out there, and they’d had styled it up beautiful (I especially loved the neon!) and we managed to grab a few shots in the February sunshine as well before heading in for food and speeches.

Anyway! Here are some favourite shots from the day while I work through the rest - ‘til death do us party!
