MORE THAN A WEDDING

So, that was 2022! Another year that flew by in a flash and another year full of all the good stuff. Big feelings, happy tears, a tonne of joy, dancing with abandon, quiet moments taking it all in, laughing until sides hurt and couples surrounded by everyone they love.

I often get asked how long I’ve been photographing weddings (13 years if you’re wondering) and if I still enjoy it; my answer is always the same - I really do love it and it’s because of all of those moments and the ‘big picture’ of what this single day means.. A wedding is more than ‘a wedding’. It isn’t just about exchanging rings, a first kiss and formalities; it’s the beginning of a new chapter and looking forward, the bringing together of people, celebration in all forms, a spectrum of emotions; it’s a day where you essentially pause, take in the life you’ve built so far and in that moment say ‘this is it’.

2022 was full of energy, fun and love and I loved being part of each and every day. I’m never not grateful to do something I love this much and to be entrusted with the role of capturing moments to last a lifetime..
