Budapest, Hungary | Personal Project + Creative Travel Photography
This is the latest in a series of personal travel posts following a trip I made with my daughter last month! Previous destinations are linked at the bottom of this blog post. and you can click through to see more about our travels on my family blog here.
I had high hopes and expectations for Budapest and it definitely didn't disappoint.. Budapest was our final destination, and my husband and baby came out to meet us there for the final four days of our trip. We had an amazing and central Air Bnb, and spend the days wandering in Buda and Pest, doing a few touristy things, enjoying the sunshine, eating well and cheaply, taking photos and catching up.
I especially loved the Jewish Quarter (and I'll definitely be back without the kids to revisit the ruin bars..). Budapest had a lovely feel to it - creative, beautiful and a little rough around the edges in the best way. It was small enough to wander around but vast enough that we didn't end up covering everything I would have liked to either (guess I'll just have to go back..). Here are a few favourite images - a mixture of Polaroids, 35mm and digital.
You can see my personal account of Budapest as well as links and recommendations over on my family blog here.
