VENICE // PERSONAL TRAVEL PHOTOGRAPHY

So.. to cut a long story short my sister and I had flight vouchers that needed using (how very 2020 of us). We searched for dates we could both do, then looked for somewhere neither of us had been to before that had flights from the right airline on the one weekend we both had free.. we ended up heading to Venice.

Venice has been on my bucket list for a while but it wasn’t anywhere near the top; it surpassed everything I’d expected. I’d heard it was very touristy, busy and expensive, but when we went (October) it was quiet, warm, all absolutely beautiful and Aperol was €3 a glass. Perfect. We spent our time wandering, seeing the sights, eating pasta, drinking wine and playing cards. Here are a few favourites..
