Claire & Niall - As You Like It Newcastle Wedding | THE MAGIC SEVEN

Another Magic Seven for you! A Newcastle city wedding, a mixture of pretty styling and an urban location..

Clare and Niall came back to Clare’s neck of the woods to tie the knot at gorgeous venue As You Like It in Jesmond, Newcastle. I love the set up there, everyone celebrated after the ceremony on the garden balcony and then went downstairs to the cellar bar to eat, drink and dance the night away. Plus these two were just gorgeous people inside and out which made the whole day a real dream to shoot – lovely stuff.

Claire and Niall got married in summer at the rustic As You Like It, which is a quirky venue in Newcastle, and had their ceremony at the local church, which a red double decker bus ride away. They chose As You Like It because Newcastle is where Claire grew up and they fell in love with it. I love shooting weddings at As You Like It because the photo ops are such a mix of industrial and pretty and the decor is so cool and quirky. The venue is one of my favourites in Newcastle - the whole place has such a relaxed feel and the food is *amazing*..

These two were obviously very much in love.. and their As You Like It wedding was full of good people, laughter and love. They decorated the venue with blush pinks, elegant floral details and the most beautiful flowers, because it suited As You Like it with the rustic feel of the decor in the cellar reception room. I love that these two were up for mixing the pretty with the industrial and we wandered a little to find some striking settings for photos.. 

I picked these seven photographs for Claire and Niall's Magic Seven because I wanted to share the sense of family that surrounded them that day, the mixture of the urban and the beautiful, and just how in love these two were. A wonderful Newcastle wedding.
