It's been a little while since a "Magic Seven' post, so here we are! For these posts I select my favourite (lucky number) seven images from the day.. the images I loved, the ones that sum the couple up, the ones that capture the magic of their day.. Today it's time for Amy and Matt.

Amy and Matt married at Huntstile Organic Farm in Somerset, one sunny day in August. They were joined by their dog, Frank, and celebrated with a marquee overlooking the beautiful view of the surrounding countryside.

I loved this shot below of Matt during the confetti shot, because it mixes a wedding celebration with reality - confetti is fabulous, a lovely moment and looks amazing for photos.. but it's not the most natural thing for a group of people to suddenly throw things at your face as you walk through them either..

The farm they married at had some amazing opportunities for photos, and we tried to make the most of all the beautiful little spots we could find.. Amy and Matt both love Wes Anderson so we made sure to find some symmetry for some of the couple portraits too.

I loved this shot above - the sun was bouncing off the field and catching each strand of grass in that beautiful early evening light. They really looked amazing in their outfits for their Summery country wedding, and I never regret telling my couples to run through fields - even if it means stealing them for a few moments between courses..

Congratulations again Amy and Matt (and Frank!) - what a perfect and magical Summer farmhouse wedding it was!
