Box of Tricks | Learning Resources for Photographers + Videographers

If you're a follower on my business Instagram account you may have seen that I've been discussing the idea for putting some accessible and affordable resources and materials out there for photographers and videographers.

From my experience since starting my business, I've heard of and attended so many wonderful and inspiring workshops, but I've also noticed a lack of really practical and clear information about some of the 'nitty gritty' aspects of running a creative photography or videography business. I've gained more knowledge through networking groups, my own research on different topics and from other professionals in different industries than I ever got from one 'go to' website, book or workshop.. And how does that little saying go..? "Create something you wish existed"? So, with that thought in mind, here we are.

'Box of Tricks' will be a comprehensive and affordable set of learning resources for photographers and videographers catering for people at any point in their professional development; from students to young businesses to more established full-timers. You will be able to buy individual 'tricks' or the entire 'box', based on what you need.

There are going to be 15 different tricks which you can buy individually, or you can get ten lessons of your choice in your own Box of Tricks and work through at your own pace.

From the beginning I wanted to make Box of Tricks affordable for people at all levels, even people who are only dreaming about where their photography could take them. I know what it's like when you're starting out; it takes time for your business and work experience to build and the first few months and years aren't necessarily as profitable as you'd like.

I was a student and wasn't making much at all when I scrambled around to find £400 for the first workshop I attended - it was worth it, but I know there might not be much going spare when you're still putting foundations down and developing everything from camera kit to your website in the earlier days. 

Each trick will be priced at £15, or you can get ten lessons in your own Box of Tricks for £95.

I'm aiming to have Box of Tricks ready by mid-March, and you'll be able to purchase everything directly through the tab 'learn' on my site. For now, to be first in the know, you can register your interest here or below and you'll get a direct link through email the second it goes live.
