KATE + JOE - ORMESBY HALL WEDDING, TEESSIDE // THE MAGIC SEVEN

Another ‘Magic Seven’ post for you this fine Sunday! For these posts I select seven favourite images that I feel tell the story of a wedding or are snippets of the day that I just loved.. and this time it’s Kate and Joe’s fabulous and colourful Ormesby Hall wedding in Teesside.

This is an especially good one..

Full disclosure.. I’m actually friends with Kate and Joe, which made them asking me to photograph their day extra-special. It was such a joy to be part of their celebrations this day and very quickly after chatting to them both about their plans I knew their day would be right up my street. I’m a huge fan of wild and wonderful flowers and rich jewel colours and this wedding had both - the styling was just stunning. I loved that Kate opted for deep purple for her bridesmaids dresses for their August wedding too - I loved the slightly vampy and cool look she chose for them.

The images I really love, though, are the ones that show just how much they laughed and how much they were loved by everyone around them that day. It was a day that made my heart happy and it was such a joy to be part of.

As an extra note, huge congratulations to these two who welcomed baby Orlaith into the world this week too! Another incredible chapter to begin for these two wonderful people <3
