For a different kind of blog post today, I thought I would share some of my favourite venues that I’ve worked at, starting with our own glorious Teesside and North Yorkshire. What I love most when working is how every day is different, and I love capturing a variety of venues over the months too - from barns to grand houses and halls, outdoor weddings to village halls.. I love mixing it up and I’ve been lucky enough to shoot at some beautiful places in this little corner of the UK.

Read MoreRosie and Tom had one of the most laid back and wonderfully unstructured days at the beautiful Tithe Barn in Nether Poppleton near York. They said their vows at the registry office in York city centre before travelling in Land Rovers over to celebrate in style at this beautiful venue. They had covered it with flowers and candles, and guests mingled in the gardens, drinking cocktails and eating amazing BBQ food and had a wonderfully laid back Summer celebration. Read MoreWell Saturday was EPIC. It was just the most laughter and love-filled day. Laura and Patrick know how to wedding and it was just perfect. Space hoppers, happy tears, limericks, amazing evening light, a glitter bar, wild ceilidh dancing.. and they topped it off by performing their own first dance song. Read MoreHolly and Jamie's York city centre wedding was just wonderful. They said their vows in St Deny's Church before walking up Fossgate to the Merchant Adventurer's Hall for their reception.
The forecast was for solid rain - ALL day.. but when they came out of the church the sun was shining and not a drop of rain fell until it was time for everyone to sit down for the meal - perfect timing and we all couldn't believe their luck!
