I really loved being part of Amy and Steven’s intimate wedding at Preston Park Museum and Grounds - they had only immediate family there to celebrate with them and they later announced to the rest of the world that they’d married on the way to their honeymoon that evening! I really love being part of days where couples have done everything completely their own way and created a day that’s perfect for them, and that’s exactly what Amy and Steven’s day was.

For a different kind of blog post today, I thought I would share some of my favourite venues that I’ve worked at, starting with our own glorious Teesside and North Yorkshire. What I love most when working is how every day is different, and I love capturing a variety of venues over the months too - from barns to grand houses and halls, outdoor weddings to village halls.. I love mixing it up and I’ve been lucky enough to shoot at some beautiful places in this little corner of the UK.

It's been a few months since I was displaying my work and chatting at a wedding fair, and this fair is *right' up my street.. think glasses of fizz on the lawn, a tipi, goodie bags, live music, a gin bar.. I hope to see you there!

Oh what a wedding day at Preston Park Museum and Gardens.. Christina and Kevin travelled half way around the world from their home in Canada (Kevin is originally from Stockton) to say their 'I Do's' at their wedding ceremony at Preston Park Museum and Gardens - a beautiful Victorian museum with the most beautiful grounds..
