Mary & Mark - Newton Hall Northumberland Wedding | THE MAGIC SEVEN
Welcome to the first of many ''The Magic Seven' blog posts, in which we visit the dusty Sally T Photography archives and relive weddings from the past few years. As I mentioned in a previous blog post, 'The Magic Seven' is going to be a regular feature on the blog; I'll be picking a favourite seven images from weddings (seven is my lucky number for a variety of reasons) and explaining why I've chosen them. So here we go!
Mark and Mark had a beautiful Newton Hall wedding in Northumberland on a bright Wintery February day. Their styling was eclectic, personal, a little quirky and suited the amazing details in Newton Hall perfectly.
For their selection of seven images, I wanted to show their personalities and how they are as a couple - they were constantly making each other laugh, during their vows, during couple portraits, throwing each other around on the dance floor.. they had a real connection and you couldn't help but notice it all day.
Newton Hall had this amazing bath tub in one of the rooms - we couldn't resist getting the flower girls to pile in for a photo.. I love shooting at Newton Hall because it seems to throw up different photo opportunities every time.
I loved Mark and Mary's styling for the day in that there was no themed and it was just things they liked - the room for the wedding breakfast at Newton Hall is beautiful as it is and their touches really suited the venue. Just look at those amazing letters too..
I really loved working with Mary and Mary, this is what they had to say about their Newton Hall wedding photos..
"I knew within five minutes of meeting Sally that she was the perfect choice for our wedding photographer. She 'got' just what our day was about and it was just like having another friend at the wedding. Never intrusive, Sally captured so many moments we would have missed perfectly and her style of photography is amazing. We couldn't have asked for more, our photographs are ace and we can't say enough to express how fab both Sally and her work are - truly wonderful."
