Gemma + Michael | Hardwick Hall Hotel Wedding, County Durham

Having been in business for what feels like a million years now (OK, about 7/8), I’m at the point where I run into guests that I’ve met at various other weddings in the past. I arrived to shoot Gemma and Michael’s wedding and immediately saw Samantha (who had Gemma for her own bridesmaid a few years ago), and Amy (the sister of another couple whose wedding I shot), and later ran into another guests who said “you shot my brothers wedding about six years ago!” It’s a small world, but it’s also so special to run into all of these people again and hear about the adventures had and the babies born..

Anyway.. It was so lovely to see Gemma again and be part of hers and Michael’s beautiful wedding day at Hardwick Hall. The sun really shone and it was such a fabulous relaxed Summer wedding.. These two were so much fun together and it was a pleasure to be there to capture everything from Gemma laughing with her bridesmaids on the morning, the flower girls dancing in the sunshine, guests relaxing in the evening sunshine and killer dance moves when the sun went down..
