Chris & Simone | St Mary's Heritage Centre Gateshead Newcastle Wedding

Well, where do I even begin? Chris and Simone had the most beautiful city centre November wedding in Gateshead and Newcastle and I had the pleasure of being their photographer for the day. Simone and Chris both have a background in Art, and they pulled together artists and friends to help create their vision for the day, from the table decor to Simone's hand-painted leather jacket. They had seasonal Autumnal styling, Simone wore the most amazing beaded dress, and the whole day was so fun and relaxed.

Simone got ready for their wedding at the Hilton in Gateshead, overlooking the Tyne Bridge and the venue they'd be celebrating at in a few hours' time - St Mary's Heritage Centre.

They said their vows at Newcastle's Civic Centre and we stayed nearby to catch some of that beautiful Autumn light for some photographs of them both..

Chris said that one of his favourite moments was seeing Simone coming down the aisle.. "I was shaking with nerves right up until I turned around as Simone reached me, then I was filled with nervous energy until the end of the night. In that moment Simone and I were in a little bubble of love and bewilderment and silliness that reaffirmed this was the woman I wanted to spend the rest of my life with."

Of their photographs, Chris and Simone said: "The photography was and is beautiful and natural , capturing moments that you don't expect, and even more special because it felt like we had a friend every step of the way."
