Read MoreBeing based in North Yorkshire I have to say that I can definitely feel a bit biased towards Yorkshire hills and landscape.. maybe slightly snobby sometimes (!), but it’s maybe more just knowing how lucky I am to live in such a beautiful part of the world. My bias and snobbery quickly evaporated as I got into Derbyshire and the beautiful villages there on the way to Stancliffe Hall for Jess and Tom’s wedding - rolling hills, charming streets and beautiful scenery. As I got closer I felt so excited to be with them that day..

My work has taken me all over the UK and abroad, I've met and worked with truly wonderful couples, laughed and cried through speeches and unscripted moments, tried to push myself creatively more than ever, charged and packed my kit, shot, then charged and packed again (ad infinitum), and really tried to push and bring myself and my own approach to my work more than ever before..
Read MoreOh Rachel and Nick's White Hart Inn wedding in Derby was just amazing. These two are both barbershop singers, as were a lot of their guests, and had a musical and wonderful wedding day. They both sang in their barbershop groups, there was karaoke on the night, Rachel's hair was just *amazing*, and these two laughed with each other all day.

The day before Valentine's Day, I headed down to Derbyshire for Anna and Jamie's West Mill wedding in Derby - the most ridiculously cool venue - to photograph their nuptials. They were joined by their dog Optimus, and close family and friends to celebrate in this industrial and fabulous converted mill. The whole day was a complete dream to shoot; the BEST start to 2017. I was so excited to shoot a West Mill wedding and theirs didn't disappoint - amazing!
