You have done such a great job (we knew you would) and captured the day perfectly. The attention to detail and thought that went into the photos is amazing. Also, being a couple that don't much like having their photo taken, we barely noticed you there on the day and you were great at putting us at ease and keeping it informal with the couple shots which have also surpassed our expectations!
Read MoreFor my first ‘Magic Seven’ of 2020 I thought I would pick seven favourites from a wedding that got an amazing response back in 2017 - *drumroll*… it’s Ed and Sorrel!
Their wedding was originally featured in OK! Magazine which felt all kinds of exciting, and went on to be featured more fully on the Rock My Wedding Blog.
Read MoreThe sun really shone for these two.. it was one of those truly beautiful September days, the light was gorgeous, it felt like one of the last days of Summer, and everything felt so easy - just perfect.
Read MoreJust look at these two! I absolutely adored Mark and Lucy’s wedding style.. they had a tipi wedding in the grounds of the Hammer and Pincers pub in County Durham with gin bottles, mix tapes, custom wedding art and illustrations.. it was so personal and so perfect.
Also Lucy’s wedding outfit - I’ve never seen anything like it (amazing work from BexBrides)! A custom made, feather embellished kimono style dress with tassels and sewn in touches from her Mum’s own wedding veil.. I could have photographed her in it all day.
Read MoreFrom the archives today is Cathy and Seb’s beautiful marquee wedding in Stirling in Scotland, held in the grounds at Cathy’s family home. It was personal, covered in beautiful blooms, had both a ceilidh and an amazing wedding band, and when I left at midnight I could tell that this party was going to go on until the sun came up..
Read MoreAnother ‘Magic Seven’ wedding from the archives today.. and today it’s all about Naomi and Daniel. Imagine marrying the love of your life, in the evening as thunder rumbles in the distance surrounded by your loved ones.. beacuse this is exactly what Daniel and Naomi did on Friday 13th June 2014 in Marrakech, Morocco.. The rain didn’t stop their incredible celebration (it may have delayed the ceremony a little..) and this was a wedding to remember..
Read MoreFrom today’s dusty wedding archives is Lucy and Andrew’s absolutely beautiful Lake District wedding at Underlay Grange (a venue at which the co-ordinator ‘could neither confirm no deny’ that Prince William celebrated his stag do, incidentally). I loved their wedding so much so that it became one of my sample albums - you may have spotted these two if we’ve met about your wedding plans or come along to a wedding fair that I’m showing at!

I’ve actually come to know these two dreamboats more and more as the years have gone on as I’ve caught up with them at various friends’ weddings that I’ve also gone on to shoot.. Read MoreTime for another ‘Magic Seven’ feature today - in which I select my favourite seven images from a wedding from the archives. Today it’s all about Gill and Ben’s humanist Scottish beach wedding in North Berwick. Instead of my usual write up, I decided to call upon the couple to tell the story themselves - exactly as it was read out on their wedding day too.. It’s quite a story..

Here are their preview pictures from their perfect Summer Wray's Barn at Whinstone View wedding..

Read MoreIt's always so hard to know what to write at this point in the year.. it feels like only a few weeks since I sat down to write 2015's end-of-year post.
Read MoreWell.. British Summer finally arrived and I was lucky enough for it to coincide with a mega trip down South for Sian and Steve's Bournemouth beach wedding. Perfect timing. I met Sian and Steve at Sarah and Mark's wedding, they both worked for Take A Break magazine and we ended up crying laughing over some of amazingly crazy stories they'd come across whilst working there.. I was over the moon to be there to photograph their Bournemouth beach wedding, a day which they shared with Steve's gorgeous son, Robert. Sian's excitement at literally everything ("OHMYGOD it's the sea!") is completely infectious and these two/three made me and the guests shed a few tears of joy more than once.. What a couple, what a family, what a setting and what a day. Here are Sian and Steve's Bournemouth beach wedding preview pictures.
