This year has seen:
A first dance to a brass band in the car park when receptions weren’t allowed // elbow bumps and kisses blown // a wedding planned in three days to get in before November Lockdown 2.0 // face masks for guests hastily made to match outfits // a wedding allowed to have 30 guests with only a day to spare // champagne toasts from a car boot in a lay-by following a ceremony in Tier 3 // sanitiser table favours // would-have-been wedding guests waiting outside ceremonies to show their love from a distance // Zoom and Facebook broadcasts from church..

Ashleigh and Richard’s day at the Fig House at Middleton Lodge was the last wedding that I shot in February before everything changed.. I didn't know it'd be my last wedding for a while and now I can’t help but think back to such a gorgeous day with everyone hugging and kissing and loving freely like we all hope to again soon.
