Read MoreI joined Ev and her Mama Annabel one lovely day in Preston Park in Stockton for some family pictures - we were originally going to get baking as Annabel has recently set up her own baking business (check out Florence Bakes on Facebook for ridiculously amazing creations..) but the weather was too good to pass up on and these two babes pulled on their DMs and off we went to run around in the sunshine for an hour or so together. The day before Valentine's Day, I headed down to Derbyshire for Anna and Jamie's West Mill wedding in Derby - the most ridiculously cool venue - to photograph their nuptials. They were joined by their dog Optimus, and close family and friends to celebrate in this industrial and fabulous converted mill. The whole day was a complete dream to shoot; the BEST start to 2017. I was so excited to shoot a West Mill wedding and theirs didn't disappoint - amazing!

They had a sunny outdoor wedding at the Swan Hotel (in October.. I know!) then had Autumn Pimms, fizz and canapes in the grounds; we were so lucky to have the beautiful village of Bibury for some portraits, and it all ended with everyone dancing the night away - a wonderful wedding. Sara and Joey married at the town hall before having an Oh Me Oh My wedding reception. There were so many fabulously hand-crafted details, and the setting for their day was amazing. Where else can you get a roof top garden overlooking the Liver building for your wedding? I was so excited to shoot an Oh Me Oh My wedding and it didn't disappoint.. Read MoreWell.. British Summer finally arrived and I was lucky enough for it to coincide with a mega trip down South for Sian and Steve's Bournemouth beach wedding. Perfect timing. I met Sian and Steve at Sarah and Mark's wedding, they both worked for Take A Break magazine and we ended up crying laughing over some of amazingly crazy stories they'd come across whilst working there.. I was over the moon to be there to photograph their Bournemouth beach wedding, a day which they shared with Steve's gorgeous son, Robert. Sian's excitement at literally everything ("OHMYGOD it's the sea!") is completely infectious and these two/three made me and the guests shed a few tears of joy more than once.. There were patches of rain on the morning but everyone's optimism paid off and Anna and Mike's day was everything you'd want from a gorgeous, outdoor Summer Yorkshire tipi wedding. A huge top hat tipi, SO much bunting, a BHLDN wedding dress, a cheese cake and gold dinosaur cake toppers. Oh! And a ceilidh to round everything off. Absolutely bloody perfect. These two had a beautiful Redworth Hall wedding in Darlington, in a romantic, alternative, Iain M. Banks and slightly medieval styled day. I love that they did everything their way - a bit of an alternative wedding - from skull and cross bone ties for the groomsmen to their favourite author's books on the tables for guests to take - amazing DIY wedding inspiration! Their thought and efforts resulted in the whole day being just perfect - chilled out and full of love and laughter. Read MoreAhh Liverpool. I lived in Liverpool for a few years while at uni and it was so amazing to be back. Sara and Joey had a Liverpool city centre wedding - they married at the town hall before heading having an Oh Me Oh My wedding reception (a venue I've been dying to shoot in for so long..) accompanied by their daughter Mollie and family and friends. When I arrived there were blue, blue skies and only a few stray clouds, but after a few hours it seemed like every time we went to step out of the door for some pictures we would feel rain drops.. eventually we decided not to let it get the better of us and we headed out with a rainbow umbrella for some pictures in the city streets nearby - and it was totally worth it. What do you do if it rains on your wedding day..? Don't worry about it! There were some really beautiful touches at their Oh Me Oh My wedding, and I'm really looking forward to shooting there again next year.
